August Rush

I really enjoyed this movie. It is truly a feel-good movie. You will walk out of the movie theater believing that life is full of happy endings. I loved the music in it, I am big on music. The movie starts of sad and my eyes water a little through the movie. It is a little predicitable but what I love is the journey it took to get to that ending. The cast is wonderful and I would reccomend this movie to everyone.

Things We Lost in the Fire

So I saw this movie a while ago and it was one of the saddest movies I've seen. A women just loses her husband and his best friend comforts her but suffers from a drug problem that she ends up helping him get sober. Even though it is sad the actors did an unbelievable job conveying the emotions. I think i cried through the whole movie but that's not unusal for me i cry in a lot of movies (even Disney). I would reccomend this movie but make sure you have a box of tissues.

Transformers

I just rented the DVD Transformers and I was excited to see it. I was never really into transformers as a kid so I didn't care to see it in the movie theater when it came out. But then I heard nothing but good things from my friends so I had to rent it. I saw the movie and thought it was good. i think I would have enjoyed it more if my friends had not hyped it up so much. But I think it is a good action packed movie. I liked the plot of the movie and all the special effects of the cars. I am usually not one to care for special effect but I think they did an excellent job and the actors did a great job considering they were probalby wroking with a bluescreen a lot of the time.

Movies- American Gangster

Everybody likes to go to the movies it gives them an hour or two to escape from reality. In that theater you are focused only what is on the screen. Not your problems at work, your family or school. Everyone has opinions about movies they have seen and whether it is good or bad. I am goingo to use this blog to be amovie critc for my assignment. This past weekend I saw the movie American Gangster. I thought it was a great movie but a little on the long side. I think they could have cut come parts out to make it a little shorter but it was still a great movie. I was afraid that it would be really bloody but suprisingly it was not that but. I think the lead actors, Denzel Washington and Russel Crow did an exceptional job. I believed it protrayed a certain period of time in the right light. It showed everyone wanting to get a piece of the pie and live the freat American dream. I would reccomend this movie to

Why Blog?

I never understood why people blog. Maybe it's because I am vary analytical. I always have a hard time putting my thoughts into words. Even now I'm trying to write this blog as a free write but am having a hard time. I don't see why people enjoy blogging. Does it let you feel like you have a voice? Are you able to stand on your soap box and say what you want and find it liberating? I find it intimidating, knowing that anyone can read it makes me think twice about what I say. The reason I am writing this blog is because it is an assignment for a class. We have to write a blogs for the next couple of weeks. I am a PR major and my professors say it is good to be able to blog that employers look for this in individuals. Is this true and why? Maybe I feel this way because at this moment I don't have a topic to talk about. I understand if you are working for a company you could blog for them and talk about the company and the different campaigns that are going on. And who knows maybe by the end of my assignment I will become a fanatic blogger, we will see.
